1990 Appaloosa stallion and grandson of the legendary Triple Crown Winner, Secretariat
We knew when we saw "Sonny" that he was the horse
we had been looking for. His breeding is 3/4 Foundation Stock and
1/4 to one of the most outstanding horses of the 20th century. He
has the old time appaloosa disposition; willing, gentle and
affectionate. He has been a wonderful addition to our ranch,
unfortunately, due to health and age, we are going out of the horse
business entirely. "Sonny" will be standing to outside mares for
$500 with a live foal guarantee until he sells. He is listed for
sell at $6000 to someone wanting to add thoroughbred speed and
conformation with old time app disposition to their herd.
"Sonny" competed locally in endurance and did very well. He had two foals born in 2005, both beautiful fillies with color, pretty heads and good conformation. In 2006, two colts, again with color, pretty heads and good conformation. 2007 brought a colt and a filly, both solid with the gorgeous heads, long legs and good conformation. He has consistantly given us babies with beautiful heads, long legs, and good conformation |
